THE COTTAGE of 56 m2 is oriented South-West, it is single-storey with a pretty garden with lawn.
Upon arrival you will be welcome by the owners, Catherine et Patrick Legrand.
THE COTTAGE gets organized around a big room of 35 m2, the kitchen and the living-room with modern and recent equipment. That room with air-conditioning, closed to the patio, is bright and accentuates the lovely “Tuffeau” stones.
The room serves the bedroom and the bathroom. (see the plan)
Completely equipped for your comfort and facilities, household articles, bed linen and condiments included to fully enjoy your stay.
It is renters’ practice to restock how much is consumed by people before leaving.
We make books and leaflets available to you to be sure you will enjoy your stay in Saumur area and Loire Valley.
For the comfort of all, pets are not accepted in the Cottage.

THE LIVING-ROOM :
The living-room is furnished of a sofa-bed which is an extra bed for the third or fourth person, a bar used as a TV stand and a desk with a lamp.

A flat screen TV (54 cm)
Board games and books on the Anjou and Saumur area.
THE KITCHEN :
A modern fitted kitchen with countryside table, 4 chairs and an old wooden sideboard to tidy the dishes and crockery.
Particularity: We also provide cleaning materials, condiments so you don’t need to bring all those bulky things.
Main equipment: big fridge with freezer, induction hot plate, oven, microwave oven, electric coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, electric blender…

THE BEDROOM :
Bedroom with 2 single beds (2x90x200). The bedding is completely new to assure you a deep and comfortable sleep.
A big, old wooden wardrobe furnishes that room and give you place to tidy your personal belongings. It consists of a closet and several shelves.
For your convenience, we provide you sheets, duvets, pillows, plaids…
The bedroom gives you a direct access to the bathroom.
THE BATHROOM :
The bathroom adjacent to the bedroom is new and comfortable with a big typical jet shower thalasso, a piece of furniture washbasin, toilets, a towel drying heater and a washing machine.
A cupboard allows to tidy up hand towels, domestic and cleaning products.
We supply you the bathroom linen, the hairdryer, the iron and the ironing board, the vacuum cleaner, the broom ….
THE PATIO:
In front of the main room,”THE COTTAGE “has a big terrace oriented South-West and totally privative, isolated of the wine-making exploitation by trellises wood.
A little garden shed shelters the barbecue and the garden furniture that you can put on the terrace on sunny days.
2 folding chairs are available to have a rest after your hikes in the vineyard. Catherine and Patrick shall lend you two bikes to discover the area or make shopping in their village.
Fresh spices and herbs are cultivated in jars at hand to prepare your meals (chive, parsley, thyme, mint, sage, basil).
OUTSIDE :
The driveway is shared with the owner. We lend you during your stay a remote control to open or close the entrance gate so the courtyard is closed and reassured.
In the courtyard, THE COTTAGE has a specific entrance.
News : The Cottage has, closed to the garden, an aboveground pool not-heated. It’s secured by a fence with a sunbathing space.
With the garden furniture, you can profit of the relaxation area and flower beds. We let you a private park in the domain.
This general arrangement protects your intimacy and that of the owners.
Nevertheless the atmosphere is often family and friendly and we can find ourselves around a table to taste traditional fouées with good wines of the country.
OUR HISTORY :
In the heart of a wine-making exploitation run since several generations, Patrick and Catherine are able to make you discover their vineyard.
Hikes or visit and tasting at the cellar CVS “Robert et Marcel” in St Cyr en Bourg where Patrick is a co-worker.
They will always be ready to share with you their passion and their story.
